Our Favourite Live Gigs on the Web
03032019

We love music at Not Another™, and we especially love live music. For us, few things beat going to a live gig of one of our favourite artists, or a new artist we’re discovering live for the first time. What’s the second best thing after going to a live show? Watching a recorded live show video.

We’re playing music all day long in the studio and often it’s love shows on YouTube. So, we’ve gone through and chosen some of our favourite live shows available to watch for free online. Check them out below and let us know if we’ve missed any which should be on the list.

Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

Alright, let’s start with the obvious one you’ve probably already watched 1,000 times… and if you haven’t watched yet, you need to drop everything and do that right now. This is the most viewed Tiny Desk concert of all time and for very good reason: Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals absolutely crush this live set.

Khruangbin: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

The Not Another™ studio is by the seaside in Sumner Beach and few things sound as good as Khruangbin by the water’s edge. Staying within the amazing family of Tiny Desk concerts, this live set by Khruangbin is an absolute winner. Slap it on and we guarantee you won’t be able resist a foot tap and head bop as you listen.

Kate Tempest - Full performance (Live on KEXP)

I was introduced to Kate Tempest in the best possible way: seeing her live at my favourite festival in New Zealand: Splore. She played by the water’s edge in one of the most beautiful places I’ve been and had people on an emotional rollercoaster between elation and tears.

Whitney - Full Performance (Live on KEXP)

Whitney is the lovechild of a couple of my favourite bands: Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Smith Westerns, so it's no surprise I'm a big fan of their live KEXP set. Play this one on a sunny afternoon and enjoy.

FKJ live @ Salar de Uyuni for Cercle

French multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton, known as French Kiwi Juice or FKJ for short, is one of those annoyingly talented people who puts the rest of us to shame. Watch him navigate a ridiculous amount of instruments on the world's largest salt flat, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.
